Well, I finally finished up that darn skirt. It doesn’t really fit, there are things on it that would make my 7th grade home ec teacher cry, and I’m pretty sure the hem is crooked, but it is done. And that was the goal.

In preparation for our move, (and as proof of my own lamiosity and geekertudery) I have taken to buying ‘bavarian’ items. Bavarian beer, bavarian sauerkraut, bavarian chocolate, bavarian ham…. I’m sure these choices will fully prepare me for any culture shock I may encounter…. right? Right?
